If your courses are not eligible to participate in the Trojan Textbook Program or you wish to locate supplemental resources to enhance your courses, you should consider adopting open access (OA) resources and/or Open Educational Resources (OERs). To locate these resources:
- Search the Thrift Library catalog to see if we already own ebooks with unlimited access that would meet your curricular needs.
- Search the PASCAL Faculty Textbook Portal for Open Educational Resources (OER) and DRM-free (unrestricted) ebooks that you can request the library purchase to support your course curriculum.
- Here is a link to a flyer with more information.
- Here is a link to a full-length webinar recording that walks you through how to use the Faculty Textbook Portal.
- Browse through the OERs available on the SCALE website.
PASCAL regularly offers webinars (and publishes the recordings) on locating, using, and developing OERs.
Contact Whitney Rice with questions or requests for assistance with OERs.
