How I Can Help You
- I am excited to help students with research assignments at any point in the process. Working with a librarian is particularly valuable as you refine your research question, complete annotated bibliographies, and seek support with accessing sources.
- You may find yourself unsure of how to find relevant sources or how to tell if they are credible, peer-reviewed, and/or scholarly. I can help you with that, too!
- I am also available to help you with citations, formatting, and other stylistic questions, especially when using Turabian/The Chicago Manual of Style.
- For faculty, I can provide instructional support for courses with research elements. I am here to offer library instruction to your classes, which we can tailor to meet your students' needs.
- Faculty are also encouraged to reach out when they need support locating resources or materials for their own research or upcoming courses. Additionally, I can help you seamlessly link online resources to your Canvas course.

Experience
I discovered my passion for librarianship while working at Furman University Libraries as an Access Services Assistant while simultaneously completing a master's degree in teaching and student teaching in Greenville County Schools. I love teaching and librarianship, so I decided to combine my passions through a career in librarianship. As a student at UNC's School of Information and Library Science, I completed two internships at Duke University. I first served as the Public Services Intern at the Goodson Law Library before joining Duke University Libraries as their Teaching & Learning Intern. I also gained valuable experience at Elon University's Belk Library, where I worked as the Weekend Library Specialist and completed field experience in library instruction.
About Me
I grew up in Charlotte, NC and earned my bachelor's degree at Sweet Briar College, a women's college in central Virginia, where I was a member of the swim team (Up Up Sweet!). Now, I spend my free time playing tennis and reading. I am always looking for recommendations and especially enjoy science fiction and memoirs. I also do a lot of spiritual reading and enjoy thinking about how those of us living in the world can take inspiration from Christian monasticism. My fiancé and I attend St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greenville and can often be found chatting with friends in the courtyard well after everyone else has left.
