Experience

My career began working in museums throughout my undergraduate education, providing tours, building exhibits, and building archival collections. In fall 2023, this shifted to working in academic libraries as a graduate student while completing my MLIS degree. It did not take long for me to discover my love of librarianship, research, and helping others toward completing their academic goals. Following the completion of my MLIS in May 2025, I was hired as the Electronic Resources and Access Librarian at Columbia College. Not long after, I joined AU in January 2026 as the Systems and Digital Resources Librarian and look forward to being a part of the AU community.

About Me

  • I grew up in a small farming town in North Carolina named Bahama (sadly not the tropical islands).

  •  My fiancée, Aubry, and I got engaged in June 2025, and spend much of our free time wedding planning, hiking, playing board games, and exploring the area.

  • Fun Fact: I was enrolled in the Boy Scouts of America and finished as an Eagle Scout, sparking a lifelong love of the outdoors and service.
