DIY: Home and Help

Welcome to Library DIY!

This resource will help you learn research and writing skills and how to use specific resources via Thrift Library. It consists of eight modules of tutorials:

1. Getting Started with Research

2. Sources of Information

3. Searching for Information

4. Search for Specific Sources

5. Evaluate & Analyze Information

6. Organizing & Presenting Information

7. Information Ethics

8. Citations

If you are not familiar with the research process and/or Thrift Library resources, it would be helpful to engage with all modules. However, you do not need to view them in order.

Librarians are happy to provide assistance at the front desk, via appointment, email, or phone.

We value your feedback - please let us know what we are doing well and in what areas we could improve.
